Perak and Penang excos also forgoing their salaries

Perak, Mentri Besar Datuk Saarani Mohamad

IPOH: Following in the footsteps of Cabinet ministers and deputy ministers, executive council members in Perak and Penang are also forgoing their salaries to help their states manage the Covid-19 health crisis.

In Perak, Mentri Besar Datuk Saarani Mohamad and his fellow state executive council members will forgo their salaries for three months from June, like what Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and his Cabinet colleagues as well as their deputies have committed to do.
