KUALA LUMPUR: Umno and Barisan Nasional need to chart a new "political correctness" that is strategic and explores new possibilities for the country's future, says Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

Mohamad said that the people need to be convinced that no government is stable without the support of the largest Malay party in the country and that Umno is the only Malay-based party that has the influence and practices moderation.
