Umno's three wings begin meetings on Saturday (March 27)


KUALA LUMPUR: The three Umno wings - Wanita, Youth and Puteri - will hold their meetings on Saturday (March 27) in conjunction with the Umno General Assembly 2020 at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) here.

This year’s assemblies will be opened by Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan (pic).

Mohamad arrived at PWTC at 8.30am and was accompanied by party-vice president Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob and other members of the party's top leadership.

Wanita chief Datuk Seri Noraini Ahmad will deliver her policy address at the wing’s assembly at Dewan Tun Dr Ismail, Youth chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki will deliver his at Dewan Tun Hussein Onn while Puteri chief Datuk Zahida Zarik Khan will deliver hers at Dewan Merdeka.

The three assemblies will be opened simultaneously at 8.30am before the chosen representatives debate motions on education, cost of living, the economy, religion and housing among others.

The annual general assembly over the weekend will be held in a hybrid manner that combines physical attendance as well as the virtual attendance of 190 divisions.
