Gym activities, golf, table tennis, badminton, tennis among sports allowed from Feb 12

PUTRAJAYA: More sporting and fitness activities will be allowed during the movement control order.

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said among them were gym activities, golf, motorsports, badminton, table tennis and tennis.

He said the government has allowed for such activities to be carried out as they do not involve contact, and also to help the public remain active.

“For these sports, all activities must be scheduled and by appointment. No walk-ins are allowed to control the number of people in the facilities,” he said on Thursday (Feb 11).
