PETALING JAYA: Compelling people to submit a Covid-19 test result before entering a condominium or apartment is pointless as the move will not stop the spread of the disease, legal and health experts say.
Strata Property Owners Association legal adviser Datuk Joy Wilson Appukuttan said there were no provisions in the Strata Management Act to grant any powers to joint management bodies (JMB) requesting residents to undergo tests for infectious diseases, including Covid-19.
