Croc measuring almost 5 metres long found in plantation stream

MIRI: Wildlife rescue team from the Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) have rescued a crocodile measuring almost five metres long found inside a stream in an oil palm plantation in Niah district in northern Sarawak.

The crocodile was found on Thursday (Dec 11) afternoon by workers, who then alerted the SFC.

It added in its latest update that the SFC was able to rescue the crocodile with the help of firemen from the Batu Niah station, and said that it will be sent to the Benaya Farm in Kuala Baram.

The SFC then said that people who come across any wildlife must report it to the SFC immediately via its hotlines.
