Covid-19: High-income earners should forgo 10% of their salaries to help the poor, says Dr M

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has proposed that those earning high salaries in the government or private sector should forgo 10% of their salaries to help the poor during the Covid-19 pandemic.

He said the money should be used to provide food to the unemployed and those without income.
