KLANG: The pink bracelet worn by a man riding a motorcycle in a viral photo (pic) on social media was actually wearing a tag to enter and exit the KLIA free trade complex, say police.
Checks have found that the man was not violating quarantine orders
South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Shamsul Amar Ramli said the South Klang CID office received the image via social media at around 12.10pm on Tuesday (Oct 20) of the man suspected of riding a motorcycle wearing what looks to be a pink band on his left hand.
"Checks on the motorcycle revealed it was registered to a 32-year-old woman from Port Klang. A police team tracked down and interviewed the owner.
"She claimed her 35-year-old brother who works as a lorry driver was using the machine," he said Tuesday.
He said police then interviewed the man who admitted that he was photographed while coming back from work near Section 15, Shah Alam, at around 10am on Tuesday.
"He had just come back after sending off some items at the KLIA free trade complex.
"The pink bracelet he was wearing was actually an entrance/exit tag to gain access to the facility," he said.
