Negri MIC shocked at statistics on Indians

NEGRI Sembilan MIC has expressed shock at statistics showing that there were only about 85,000 Indians in the state, reported Makkal Osai.

Even more disappointing, only 13,000 of them were registered as voters, said state MIC chairman Datuk M. Veloo in his speech during the branch’s 74th annual general meeting recently. There are 300 MIC branches with over 25,000 members in the state.
