Sabah to set up fruit collection centre, downstream processing factory in Beaufort

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah will set up a fruit collection centre along with a downstream processing factory at a 355ha site in Beaufort, located about 100km from the state capital.

Caretaker state Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Datuk Junz Wong said among the varieties of fruit they are going to be looking at are mangosteen, mango, durian, rambutan, pineapple and crops such as ginger.
