Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah (pic) said the Hospital Sentosa cluster recorded five new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday (July 21).

“The first case from this cluster was a medical worker who experienced symptoms on July 13 and tested positive on July 19. Following that, investigations and active case detention were carried out and 61 people have been screened.

“Of these, five tested positive and 56 tested negative. The cluster currently has six positive cases,” he said during a daily briefing on Tuesday (July 21).

Five of the patients were medical workers while another was from a cleaning company, and all six are currently being treated at the Sarawak General Hospital.
