PUTRAJAYA: Applications for the Startup Accelerator Grant Assistance Programme (Uyarvu MADANI) open from Monday (June 29) until 5 pm on July 13, according to the Malaysian Indian Transformation Unit (MITRA).
It said the programme is open to entrepreneurs from the Indian community in the B40 and M40 income groups, offering grants ranging from RM20,000 to RM50,000.
"A total of 700 entrepreneurs are targeted to receive Uyarvu Madani grants and business development support to help start-up entrepreneurs enhance their competitiveness and expand their businesses.
"Applications will close earlier if 1,500 applications are received or upon the expiry of the application period, whichever comes first," it said in a Facebook post on Monday (June 29).
