GEORGE TOWN: Perseverance, determination and consistency were the key factors for visually impaired Thew Ming Soon scoring a CGPA of 3.67 in the 2017 Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) examinations.

The 20-year-old from Maktab Sul­tan Abu Bakar (English College) in Johor Baru was pleasantly surprised as he did not expect to do so well.
