KUALA LUMPUR: The Home Ministry has refuted claims in a documentary by Al Jazeera that refugees were forced to strip naked in an immigration detention centre in Malaysia.

Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said even if a detainee was required to strip off their clothes for body checks, they would be given a towel or sarong.
