PETALING JAYA: Nothing escapes the increasing cost of living – even Thaipusam celebrations, which is hitting the wallets of devotees harder this year.
M. Suresh, who makes kavadis for Thaipusam, said components, such as peacock feathers had gone up to RM1 each, compared to 50 sen last year.
