Umno polls: Delegate collapses at Kuantan Umno meeting, dies in hospital

KUANTAN: A delegate collapsed during the Kuantan Umno Division meeting on Saturday and died in hospital, said Pahang Umno Elections Committee chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Jabbar Ibrahim.

He said Mohamed Ariffin Awang, 69, fainted at 9.20am and was given emergency aid by medical personnel at the Sultan Ahmad Shah Silver Jubilee Hall before being rushed to a specialist hospital.
