Indonesia names eight companies with Malaysian links investigated for burning


JAKARTA: The Indonesian Environment Minister Balthasar Kambuayahas identified eight companies with Malaysian links that are being investigated for burning in Riau and Jambi, that has led to the haze that is choking neighbouring countries Malaysia and Singapore.

According to Dr Balthasar, all eight companies are owned by Malaysian investors and fires were discovered on their concessions.
