Hadi to officiate at Reset Convention in Kelantan on June 13


PETALING JAYA: PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang is set to officiate at the Reset Convention in Kelantan on Saturday (June 13), says his political secretary Mohd Syahir Che Sulaiman.

Syahir, who is also Bachok MP, said in a Facebook post on Friday (June 12) that Hadi had accepted the invitation of Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, who started the political movement Gerakan Reset.

Former Bersatu deputy president Hamzah started Reset shortly after he was sacked from the party in February.

He said Reset was not about him, but the first step towards "correction and improvement" that would form the foundation for rebuilding collective strength, ensuring a clearer and more convincing future for the nation.

On Monday (June 8), PAS announced that it had decided to terminate its political cooperation with Bersatu.

In his post, Syahir also said that during a political talk in Negri Sembilan, PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man will accept more than 10 leaders from the professional, corporate and administration sector to join the party.
