Ayda Jebat denies “married actors only” cast selection

Local actress and singer Ayda Jebat has denied talks that she had deliberately chosen to co-star with married actors in the drama, Pinjam Hatiku. The 24-year-old artiste clarified that the selection of male cast was discussed with and decided by the director and producer. Ayda said she had listed out a few names when she was asked who will be compatible to work with. “Based on discussion with director Osman Ali, Farid Kamil and Shaheizy Sam were chosen,” she said. “There is no issue about me choosing them because (I) like or was trying to court them,” she clarified.
