FIFTEEN contestants from across Malaysia are vying for three national titles at Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2026 happening in Ipoh, Perak.

The winners will get to represent the country at the world finals in the Philippines in December, competing against participants from more than 50 countries.

The last time a finalist from Malaysia won at the world finals was in 2011, when Aileen Gabriella Robinson, 22, took the crown over 53 competitors.

Tourism Perak chief executive officer Abu Hassan Shari, representing state tourism committee chairman Loh Sze Yee during the press conference at Perak Royal Golf Club, said: “All the finalists here are already winners.

“The participants must also show that beauty is not only skin-deep, but comes from within.”
