The rhythmic beat of drums echoed along Jalan Sultan in Kuala Lumpur as lion dance troupes performed for crowds along the touristic stretch, giving the heart of Chinatown a festive air outside Chinese New Year season.
Organised by the Petaling Street Han Shou Tang Cultural and Sport Association, the cultural show celebrated the art of lion and dragon dances.
Colourful costumes, energetic movements and vibrant sounds filled the air as visitors gathered to watch the traditional art form.
