StartING life as a wet market in 1888, Central Market Kuala Lumpur, also known as Pasar Seni, is now a cultural landmark.

Built in 1937 in Art Deco style, the building in Jalan Hang Kasturi attracts history and art lovers alike, as well as tourists seeking local handicrafts, textiles, souvenirs, collectables, original artworks and traditional snacks, among others.

There are also activities offered from time to time such as batik painting that suit family visits.

Outside, the riverside landscape opens up space to enjoy a view of Sungai Klang, while the covered Kasturi Walk extends the charm of browsing for food and souvenirs in an al fresco setting.

Located near Chinatown and a stone’s throw from MRT Pasar Seni, Central Market is a vibrant hub that offers visitors Malaysian culture, heritage and architecture at a glance.
