S2 HEIGHTS AMAN in Seremban, Negri Sembilan, came alive as over 20,000 people gathered for Chap Goh Meh.

This year, the celebration moved to a new lakeside venue.

IJM Land Bhd chief operating officer Datuk Chai Kian Soon said the annual event celebrated a decade of community bonds.

“Hosting at S2 Heights Aman allowed us to showcase the area’s natural beauty while creating unforgettable memories.

“Seeing more than 20,000 visitors come together in the spirit of joy and togetherness truly reflects the essence of this celebration,” said Chai.

Also present were Transport Minister and Seremban MP Anthony Loke and IJM Land chief executive officer Datuk Tony Ling Thou Lung.

Since it was introduced in 2014, the IJM Seremban 2 Chap Goh Meh celebration has grown into a signature cultural event.

Themed “Hooves of Joy” to symbolise the Year of the Horse, the event featured a lakeside concert, wishing wall, and interactive games.

Adding to the excitement, the first 1,118 visitors received an exclusive Chinese New Year gift.

The evening also featured cultural performances, including the powerful beats of the 24 Festive Drums by SMJK Chan Wa, contemporary dance performances and an LED high-pole lion dance.

The celebration concluded with a spectacular fireworks display that lit up the night sky, drawing cheers from the crowd.
