Each year, Ramadan bazaars across the country draw massive crowds with their array of traditional delicacies and viral foods.

These vibrant sites have become essential stops for those seeking variety and convenience when preparing for the break of fast.

No two bazaars are alike, as each location – from the historic streets of George Town and Johor Baru to bustling neighbourhoods in the Klang Valley – features a unique mix of dishes and beverages.

Well-loved favourites such as lemang, rendang and kuih-muih can be found alongside regional treats like sata and unique dishes like Vietnamese rolls, stuffed murtabak and taro Basque cheesecake.

Similarly, colourful drinks stand out with a range that includes fruit juices, fresh coconut water and Thai iced tea.
