MALAYSIA’S capital city is buzzing with spirit and style as Kuala Lumpur Cocktail Week (KLCW) returns for its third edition, drawing enthusiasts and industry professionals to the heart of the city until May 3.

The festival hits a high note today and Sunday, with a series of mixologist guest shifts and curated cocktail dinners that pair gastronomic flair with liquid artistry.

The celebration reaches its peak tomorrow with the “Festival Village” at Sentul Depot.

Running from 1.30pm to 11.30pm, the day-long event allows guests to explore a diverse selection of pours from renowned brands, complemented by live music, interactive games, masterclasses and stage performances.

Those who missed the opening days can still catch the action in Chinatown on Sunday.

A major highlight of the week remains the prestigious guest shifts, featuring icons of the regional bar scene.

Among the heavy hitters are Thailand’s Bar Us, which ranks fourth, and Japan’s Bar Benfiddich, which is in the ninth spot on the Asia’s 50 Best Bars list.

Penrose will host the team from Bar Us at 7pm, while Bar Benfiddich takes over the bar at Cabinet 8 KL starting at 8pm.
