S’gor records RM156bil in approved investment

SELANGOR recorded a combined RM156.4bil in approved investments for 2023 and 2024, reaffirming its position as Malaysia’s leading investment destination.

Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida) confirmed that Selangor secured RM51.9bil in approved investments between January and September 2025, which was the second highest in the country after Johor.
