Families of all races and backgrounds packed the grandstands and field at Penang State Stadium as the parade dazzled with 122 marching contingents involving 7,533 participants, alongside 22 contingents featuring 676 vehicles.

Cheers erupted as uniformed groups performed stunts and unfurled giant flags in perfect rhythm, while the display of military might left the crowd in awe.

Placards proclaiming unity drew loud applause, and children showed their excitement as armoured vehicles rolled by.

At a nearby exhibition, little ones clambered onto artillery units and posed on armoured carriers.
