MBPJ, he said, was proud to be a strategic and committed partner in organising the expo, which was a celebration of resilience, health and exploration.

The mayor also toured booths and took part in some of the activities such as riding an all-terrain vehicle and ziplining.

Attracting several thousand people including visitors from Japan, China, Pakistan and Indonesia, the expo also leaned heavily into experiential learning this year, with sessions on outdoor safety, mental and physical preparation as well as environmental awareness woven into the programme.

A notable highlight was the revamp of the Outdoor Expo Malaysia (OXM) Awards, with a new Innovation Award.

The awards also recognised exhibitors creating meaningful social impact, championing environmental responsibility and pushing the boundaries of outdoor lifestyle solutions.

Hands-on activities, immersive exhibits and grassroots engagement cemented the expo’s status as a platform for learning, engagement and transformation.
