THE developer of J.Satine in Wangsa Maju said it was compiling a final comprehensive report following the stop work order issued by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) on Nov 9, 2024.
In a statement issued by Gandingan Jakel, the developer said the report is expected to be delivered to DBKL within the next two weeks.
The stop work order was put in place after structural safety concerns arose following a reported explosion at the site.
“We have maintained close coordination with DBKL since the outset of the project, promptly addressing all requests from DBKL for documentation and reports," it stated Friday (Feb 7).
The developer said it had also submitted an interim structural integrity report to DBKL following the incident within the stipulated timeline.
“Since then, we have provided multiple reports with detailed technical information as requested.
“After our latest meeting with DBKL, our team is now working to compile and submit a final comprehensive report, which we expect to deliver within the next two weeks.”
According to earlier reports, soil investigation works at the site commenced on Dec 30, 2024.
Gandingan Jakel said this was part of the efforts to gather critical data for further analysis by independent engineers.
“Gandingan Jakel has and continues to prioritise the safety of future residents and the community. While we are eager to share updates, we must align our communications with DBKL’s guidelines to preserve the integrity of ongoing evaluations.”
DBKL had stated all other construction activities will continue to be suspended until Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Seri Maimunah Mohd Sharif is satisfied with the findings in a detailed report.
