Jalan Pudu reopens after fallen tree cleared

JALAN Pudu in Kuala Lumpur, which was earlier closed due to a tree fall incident, has now been reopened.

The fallen tree had blocked two lanes of Jalan Pudu.

"Clearing works following the fallen tree incident on Jalan Pudu have been completed by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) personnel and partner agencies.

"The road in both directions has been reopened to road users," DBKL said in a statement.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department, a woman and a teenage girl sustained light injuries when a tree fell on them near Wisma Magnum on Jalan Pudu on Thursday (Jan 16) morning.
