Villagers instal CCTV to deter illegal dumping


The CCTV-activated area which used to be an eyesore due to illegal dumping in Kampung Baru Kelapa Sawit, Kulai.

AFTER enduring the stench from rubbish being dumped illegally at Kampung Baru Kelapa Sawit in Kulai, the village committee has decided to instal closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras to identify those responsible.

Village chief Wang Choong Faa said residents had been plagued by the problem for more than 10 years.
