Lotus Light Cup Creative Colouring and Drawing Competition has returned for its third edition, themed “Visit Malaysia 2026”.

Organised by Selangor and Kuala Lumpur branch of Malaysia Lotus Light Charity Association, Malaysia Ecological Civilisation Communication Centre and KK Supermarket Group, the event aims to inspire students to embrace civilised travel, environmental awareness and social responsibility.

By blending art with character building, the organisers said they hoped to nurture a new generation of compassionate and responsible citizens.

The contest runs until July 31 and is open to schoolchildren aged seven to 17.

At the launch in Kuala Lumpur, association president Wong See Yi expressed gratitude to KK Supermarket Group founder Datuk Seri Dr KK Chai for supporting the initiative.

A major highlight of the launch was the premiere of the official theme song Visit Malaysia 2026 featuring lyrics by advisor Colin Qi and music by Dr Pierre Ong.

This year, the event has also expanded to the secondary school category.

More than just an art contest, the Lotus Light Cup is described as a “journey of the heart”.

Through their brushes and palettes, children are encouraged to explore themes of respect and empathy, while the wider community is invited to embrace environmental stewardship.
