Putrajaya MRT Phase One opening delayed to next year

The trial run of the Phase One section of the Putrajaya MRT line from Kwasa Damansara MRT Station to Kampung Batu MRT Station has been ongoing since April 29.

EAGER commuters hoping to take a ride on the Putrajaya MRT line this month will have to wait a little longer as its opening has been revised to the second quarter of next year.

Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Zarif Hashim said Phase One section of the line was initially scheduled to start operations this month but was postponed to next year as further refinement was needed.
