THE Penang Island City Council (MBPP) is considering installing closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras to keep in check the indiscriminate disposal of dead pets in Tanjung Bungah, Penang.

MBPP councillor Connie Tan said the CCTV cameras could be put up near the river mouth of Sungai Kelian and the Tanjung Bungah beach, where dog carcasses had been found floating in the sea and washed ashore lately.
