Restoring iconic landmark in Balik Pulau

THE iconic Balik Pulau monument, which is being restored at a cost of RM470,000, is done through an open tender, said the Penang Island City Council (MBPP).

Its mayor Datuk Yew Tung Seang said the council picked the lowest bid and the best company to undertake the project, which was funded by the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry.
