JOHOR BARU: Johor has set up a food security committee to strengthen the state’s position as the main food producer in Malaysia.

State agriculture, agro-based and rural development committee chairman Datuk Samsolbari Jamali said the committee would be headed by Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad and comprised government departments and agencies as well as experts from the agricultural sector.
