Call to join fight against plastic pollution in oceans


Hay hopes Malaysia can be part of the clean ocean alliance.

As part of efforts to solve ocean-related problems through a countrywide initiative, the British High Commission hopes that Malaysia will pledge its support to the Commonwealth Clean Ocean Alliance (CCOA).

Its commissioner Charles Hay said the big thrust of CCOA was addressing plastic pollution in the ocean.
