Good deal for Red Army M’sia fan club members

THERE is good news for Manchester United fans in Malaysia as Football Republic has signed a memorandum of understanding with local fan club Red Army Malaysia to give its members discounts on purchases made at the store.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Perlis Raja Muda Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, who is also the patron of Red Army Malaysia.

Al-Ikhsan Sports and Football Republic chief executive officer Vach Pillutla announced that a 20% discount would be given to Red Army Malaysia members.

“As the number one football merchandise destination in Malaysia, Football Republic is always looking to engage and connect with football fans across the country, ’’ said Vach.

“Red Army Malaysia is one of the fan clubs that are active in gathering their fans and community.

“Thus, we are extremely glad to partner with Red Army Malaysia and provide benefits to the fans.

Red Army Malaysia president Datuk Rosthman Ibrahim said the fan club saw a 50% increase in membership this year.

“We anticipate more people will join, especially Manchester United fans from outside of Kuala Lumpur.

He said every Manchester United fan should be proud of wearing the club’s kit.

“We also hope there will be more collaborations between us and Football Republic that can benefit both parties, ” he added.

Red Army Malaysia club members are entitled to a 20% discount for every purchase at any Football Republic stores in Malaysia.
