FOR most children, The Jungle Book – The Musical staged at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) reminded them of English author Rudyard Kipling’s 1894 novel that later became a hit Disney movie.

The story tells of the self-discovery journey of lead character Mowgli, an orphaned boy guided by his animal guardians while evading the threatening Shere Khan, a man-eating Royal Bengal Tiger.
