THE Penang Pesta parking lot in Sungai Nibong was crammed with school buses and taxis as 2,343 taxi drivers and 656 school bus operators gathered to collect their RM300 incentive from the state government.

The state government together with the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) have been providing the half-yearly incentive in order to help out these people as they struggle to keep afloat with the introduction of e-hailing services.
