In about a week’s time, Rain Rave Water Music Festival 2026 is set to be held at Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.

Taking place from April 30 to May 2, the music portion of the festival will feature both international and local artists.

Joe Flizzow, DJ Cza, Killa Driz, Mimi Fly, Dolla and De Fam are the homegrown talents that will take the stage.

Wujackers – a new collaboration between Dutch duo Bassjackers with Singapore’s DJ Wukong – will be headlining on the international front. Also performing is an all-female DJ line-up that includes China’s DJ MiJi and DJ Yoyo, South Korea’s DJ Loa, Philippines’ DJ Lovezy, Indonesia’s Moski Love and Thailand’s DJ Pixzy.

Aside from music and water fun, the three-day festival will also feature a food market called The Rhythm of Flavours, plus an arts and craft zone called The Rhythm of Cultures. Both will run from 10am to 10pm.

The inaugural Rain Rave Water Music Festival is an initiative by Tourism Malaysia under its nationwide tourism campaign, Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026). It aims to showcase Malaysia’s creative talent and cultural identity, while generating more visits for VM2026.

It also marks the country’s World Labour Day celebration as the public holiday falls on May 1.

To facilitate event setup works, partial road closures will take place along Jalan Bukit Bintang from April 22 to 28.

The closures are scheduled from 11pm to 5am on weekdays, and 12am to 7am on weekends.

From April 29 to May 2, Jalan Bukit Bintang will be fully closed.
