AirBorneo is offering a 20% discount on normal fares for the upcoming 2026 Chinese New Year.

In a statement, the Sarawak state-owned airline said the discount applies to bookings made from now to Feb 5, for travel from Feb 6 to Feb 28.

AirBorneo chief executive officer Megat Ardian Wira Mohd Aminuddin said the promotion is designed to support travellers returning home for the holidays.

"This discount reflects our commitment to making homecoming travel more accessible during the festive season,” he said.

According to the statement, customers can book through the airline’s website, call centre and ticketing counter at the airports with terms and conditions apply.

The Sarawak-owned carrier currently serves 21 destinations, maintaining connections to remote communities in Sarawak and Sabah. The airline plans to continue expanding its services while maintaining critical Rural Air Services (RAS) network.

AirBorneo began commercial operations with its inaugural flight on Jan 2, 2026, after completing the acquisition from MASWings on Jan 1, 2026. – Bernama
