If you’re looking to visit Singapore with your little ones this school holiday, you might want to check out Mandai Wildlife Reserve.

It has recently introduced yet another attraction, this time catering specifically to children aged three to 12. Called Curiosity Cove, the indoor nature-inspired playscape is the largest in Singapore, spanning 4,600sq m.

Curiosity Cove, which officially opened on Nov 21, is divided into four nature-themed zones – Wetlands, Forestlands, Grasslands and Drylands. The zones feature more than 30 multi-sensory touchpoints and let kids learn in an interactive way.

Activities here include crawling through a 27m-long giant snake belly and climbing the 6m-tall Orangutan Sleeping Platform. The latter offers varying heights so kids of all ages can scale the platform at their own comfort level.

Open from 10am to 6.30pm, Curiosity Cove operates on a timed entry slot basis, primarily in two-hour blocks. Admission fee applies to children, but complimentary entry is available for one accompanying adult.

Aside from the indoor playscape, there are plenty to discover in the outdoor areas.

These include Bird Paradise, one of Asia’s largest bird parks; Rainforest Wild, Asia’s first adventure-based zoological park; River Wonders, Asia's first river-themed wildlife park; Night Safari, world's first nocturnal zoo (as recognised by Guinness World Records); and Singapore Zoo.

You can visit them at discounted prices when you purchase the 5 Attractions Destination Pass for same-day entry to all five aforementioned areas. The offer is available until Feb 28, 2026.

Accommodations are available for overnight stays.

You can opt for a restorative retreat in nature at Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, or a glamping getaway at Colugo Camp. The latter includes meals, and you get to explore the wildlife parks with camp facilitators.
