Next year is shaping up to be an interesting one for travellers who enjoy cruises, cuisines and cultural explorations.

Oceania Cruises’ 2027 Specialty Cruises are set to pair destination-rich itineraries with hosted experiences, which will highlight cuisine, culture and personal connection.

“Our 2027 Specialty Cruises represent the pairing of port‑rich itineraries with hosts who bring true depth, access and perspective,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises, in a press statement.

Montague added that the voyages have each been created “…to connect guests more meaningfully with the cultures they’re exploring”, all through the specialty sailings’ exclusive experiences.

Some of these will be hosted by TV personalities and culinary icons, including Sara Moulton, Samantha Brown and "Master Chefs of France", Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale.

Both Quaretti and Barale also serve as executive culinary directors. On the Culinary Luminaries Specialty Cruise (June 2, 2027), a 13-day journey from Athens (Greece) to Rome (Italy), they will treat guests to crafted menus and culinary demonstrations.

Moulton, an American author and chef, will host her very own Sara Moulton Specialty Cruise (June 8, 2027). The 14-day London (England) roundtrip cruise will see her leading exclusive events and a gala lunch.

On Claudine Pepin Specialty Cruise (Sept 30, 2027), an 11-day Tokyo (Japan) roundtrip cruise, the titular chef will treat guests to live cooking demonstrations and a gala brunch. Pepin will also join guests on some of the shore excursions in Japan.

Mediterranean voyage Samantha Brown Specialty Cruise (Nov 7, 2027) will have the namesake TV personality accompanying guests on the 10-day journey from Trieste (Italy) to Barcelona (Spain). Brown is set to encourage guests to form a deeper connection with the ports’ history and character.

Last but not least is the Reunion Cruise (Dec 6, 2027). The 12-day trip from Trieste to Athens is a special end-of-year sailing on the new vessel Oceania Aurelia, which will debut in late 2027.
