Travellers are encouraged to go "cuti-cuti Malaysia" while at home through a tourism music video contest organised by the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry.

Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, in a video message posted online, said the contest will help Malaysians to fill their time while at home.

“We are all affected by the Covid-19 pandemic whereby the movement control order (MCO) has required everyone to stay at home.

“Use your imagination and creativity by using the songs and lyrics provided (to produce the video),” she said.

The Cuti-Cuti At Home contest calls upon participants to produce a music video that describes their dream vacation with family after the Movement Control Order (MCO) is over.

Participants stand a chance to win vacation packages and local handicraft by strutting their talent in singing, playing musical instruments and short sketches.

Contest ends on April 28 (subject to extension).
