Looking for that extra motivation for your cycling routine?

Easy, just imagine you’re exploring Melbourne, Australia on bike with legendary cyclist Datuk Azizulhasni Awang (aka The Pocket Rocketman).

Even better, you can bring this imagination to life. Just join the “Ride Together, Fly Together” challenge by Malaysia Airlines.

The national carrier recently launched the campaign under MHsports, its travel offering that provides exclusive sports travel privileges.

You’ll have to hurry though, the MHsports challenge is only open until Aug 28.

To participate, you have to complete a 6.5km ride on the global fitness platform, Strava. No flight booking or purchase is required.

You might just be one of the five winners who will get to travel to Melbourne for the exclusive cycling programme.

“Together with Datuk Azizulhasni Awang, we are giving aspiring cyclists an opportunity to ride alongside one of Malaysia's greatest sporting icons and gain first-hand insight into the world of elite track cycling,” Bryan Foong, CEO of Airline Business from Malaysia Aviation Group, said in a press statement.

The programme includes behind-the-scenes access to elite track cycling at the Joe Ciavola Velodrome (DISC Velodrome), where participants can also experience an observation session, velodrome tour, WattBike sprint challenge and more.

It will end with a 60.7km coastal ride with Datuk Azizulhasni. The ride will start from St Kilda to Mount Martha, where participants will get to enjoy the scenic Port Phillip Bay coastline.
