Light as a cloud
Hanya’s Eid 23 collection, Cloudhouse, is meant to conjure up an image of softness and weightlessness.
An array of fluid and dreamy cloud-like fabrics – soft chiffon, rayon and organza – make up the range, designed to be comfortable enough to be worn all day.
Colours include classic black, light pink, navy blue, moss green, pebble grey and more, while designs range from modern kurungs and chic long dresses to flowy tops and versatile wrap skirts.
Exquisite creations
Larney’s 2023 Regal Raya collection is crafted from impeccable fabrics, with styles categorised into the Ethereal Embroidery, Premium Neat Pleats and Luxe Prints range, offering an array of elegant colours with exquisite workmanship for full comfort.
These timeless pieces are offered in bold colours such as royal blue, forest green and magenta as well as soft hues like blush pink, winter sky and tender green.
According to Zura Zaibidi, the brand’s managing director and creative director, the idea behind this year’s designs was to curate more delicate designs and silhouettes that “can be worn during fabulous soirees, luxurious open houses and just about anywhere”.
Making the extraordinary
Luar Biasa!, Whimsigirl’s Raya collection is inspired by the myriad of everyday girls’ beauty and strength.

The “Menawan” range pays homage to divine femininity, with delicate floral prints and effervescent colours, the “Perkasa” range focuses on bolder silhouettes and trimmings in stronger hues that embody courage and will, and finally, the “Cerdik” range highlights sharp, structured pieces that can take you through Raya and beyond.
Menswear is also available now, with both short and long-sleeved linen sets for men in core colours that will pair perfectly with many of Luar Biasa’s pieces. Referred to as #JejakaLuarBiasa, these pieces are also an homage to the fathers, brothers and partners of the #GadisLuarBiasa.

Nostalgic designs
For those who wear headscarves, more options are introduced every year, and Harirose’s Raya collection, 1990 Catalogue, is one of the newest debuts in the market.
Founded by actress Sharifah Rose, the designs from this collection are reminiscent of everyday household items collected by our grandmothers, from chinaware to vintage vases.
“When I was working with the team to come up with the designs, I kept thinking of my grandma’s house, the chinaware she used to keep in her cabinets that only gets put to use during special occasions. Or the memory of my cousins and I making a fort behind my grandma’s langsir, spending hours daydreaming about our future. These memories were so vivid and were at the forefront of my mind when we were designing this collection,” says Sharifah.
The Harirose 1990 Catalogue scarves collection is a modern twist on the elements we grew up with, and the campaign evokes all the nostalgic feels during this special time of year.
Its campaign features a series of catalogue materials that are a throwback to the flyers and brochures that used to arrive in “Rumah Nenek” together with her Sunday papers, heavily inspired by vintage fonts.
