With the country experiencing extreme hurdles in the fight against Covid-19, Malaysians are understandably feeling fatigued as they come face to face with various challenges on a daily basis due to the pandemic.

Actor-rapper-composer Altimet confessed on Instagram that he is one of those people.

He shared: “I am tired. We are tired.

“We have been adhering to the rules for one year, putting aside all our personal wants for the betterment of the country and to defeat the pandemic, ” the 42-year-old wrote.

He further mentioned how he’s tired warning his children of “the unseen enemy”, explaining to them why they can’t play with others.

“I pity my children as their social developments are halted as well as their friendships, from not attending school.”

He also talked about how his own business is in the loss, but he has to bear the cost and responsibility of this loss for he wants to keep the business going.

“I am tired having to buy things from my fellow artistes friends who have resorted to selling things as they don’t have jobs.”

He hopes that people in charge are aware of this weariness, that not only he is feeling.

“We will, however, still follow the SOP and all the rules in place even though we are tired. After all, #KitaJagaKita right?" he concludes.

The Ola Bola The Musical actor got more than 15K likes for this post, and some 176 comments.

One follower wrote: “You are right. We are very tired. When our parents ask how we are doing, we automatically say ‘We are OK’ when the truth is we are tired.”

Many also criticised the current situation, theorising where things went wrong.

Others also gave suggestions; one of which is to make those who break SOP to help out with people dealing directly with Covid-19 so they realise how harmful their actions were, instead of letting them off with just a fine.
