While actors Nora Danish and Tiz Zaqyah declared they are free of Covid-19, actress Puteri Sarah Liyana informed via social media that she’s infected with the virus.
The 35-year-old said a third swab test she did came out positive.
“We have been adhering to the SOP in the best possible manner, and do not mix around with people, yet we couldn't avoid it, ” she shared on her Instagram.
She added that she was under the low-risk category previously as she was in the midst of shooting a drama, and had taken two swab tests already which came out negative.
“But after I had no sense of taste when I ate, and no sense of smell – which happened just yesterday (May 19) – I went to do another test. This time it came out positive, ” she went on in the post.
“Before this quarantine, I had no symptoms whatsoever and I felt just fine. But I still got it.
“I do apologise to anyone who came in close contact with me from May 10 onwards. Please go and do the test,” the wife of director Syamsul Yusof (Munafik) continued in her caption.
In her latest post today (May 21), she wrote: “Whatever happens let’s stay positive.”
