Ilham Gallery in Kuala Lumpur is presenting its first art bazaar Atas/Not Atas, which will be happening this Saturday and Sunday (June 4 and 5) from 11am to 7pm.

There is no shortage of artistic creativity, and accessible fun when it comes to the list of vendors, which include Pangrok Sulap, Cultkids, Shan Shan Lim Studios, Cloud Projects, Izat Arif, Jesse Joy Studio, Huruf, Projek SembangSembang, Humana Art, Gerimis Art Project, Gerai OA, Bangkita Ceramic Studio, Mah Meri Cultural Village, Kids In Batik and many others.

From woodcuts to batik prints right to plants and indigenous handicraft, the curated content ticks all the crowd-pleasing boxes.

However, if you're looking beyond the selfie scene, Atas/Not Atas also has a list of public programmes, including workshops and art talks.

On June 4, Pangrok Sulap will introduce a woodcut workshop, while the Kanta Studio Instant Portraits and a Mee Goreng Miniature Workshop by Miniarture Concepts are bound to attract curious attention.

The weekend's highlight talk "North Borneo Baskets – A Discovery", presented by Sabahan art scene stalwart Jennifer Linggi, is something not to be missed this Saturday at 2pm.

Art vendors, food pop-ups and deejay sessions - all important for today's Insta-worthy art event - will be located on the ground floor at the Ilham Event Space, while workshops will be held on level 3 and level 5 (Ilham Gift Shop).

Ilham Gallery is also currently showing its Ilham Art Show 2022 exhibition, while Ahmad Fuad Osman's Skola Gambar: Enrique de Malacca, a historical fiction exhibit, has been extended till June 12.
